Paper Craft Planet

Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

The turkey may be bare bones by now and you may even have moved onto CHRISTMAS mode with your Christmas decorations already up, but just because the Thanksgiving holiday is only a memory, my spirit of thanksgiving continues. I'd like to think that I can keep my attitude of gratitude going all year long. Today, I'm thankful that I have the change to host this week's Paper Craft Planet's Saturday Sketch Challenge.

Just create a project based on this sketch that was inspired by Melanie Muenchinger.

And if you need a little inspiration, here is my sample for the challenge.

I hope that you will join us this week and play along. The sketch really works well for just about any image, so come on ladies...let's see your awesome creations. Don't forget to use the tag sk112809 when you upload your cards here on PCP.

How pretty, Lynn! I'm going to try to play along after I get home from shopping this afternoon.

Lynn this is a beautiful card I just love it. How did you get the orange around the outside? Is it from a sponge brush?

I used a large sponge dauber to add the shading around the outside. Glad you liked it. =)
