Reason to celebrate!!!! CardMaker Magazine is sponsoring this week’s Sketch Challenge!

I decided that today, it’s hip to be square:

This card is 5×5 and there are a couple of cool things about it.

1. It’s HYBRID. Yep, you read that right… “hybrid” – the fun mix between digital and traditional crafting. I used my computer and a digital stamp for the image (Mo Manning’s Big Present). I also used the computer to print the letters that I punched out for the birthday banner.
2. It’s colored with Copics using a cool tutorial in the March issue of Cardmaker Magazine. This article taught me a much better way to color skin tones. It also showed me the best skin combos for different ethnic groups. LOVE that!!! Even better, they have a digital subscription option, so you can get the digi version and carry inspiration on your iPad or smart phone or laptop! Plus, they feature a cool technique just for card makers every single month.
