Here's the very last sketch challenge for 2009! I did something a little out of the ordinary for me on this sketch--using slanted panels instead of straight ones. Here's the sketch we're working with this week:
And, here's my version of the sketch using images from Stamping Bella. I went with a super girly monochromatic pink color scheme with lots of polka dots thrown in. My card has a button-embellished bow on the circle panel, but you could also use that panel for a sentiment.
Add your cards using this sketch to the gallery using the keyword sk122609 so I can add it to the album. I'm looking forward to seeing what you create with the sketch!
Oooooh this card is absolutely adorable!!! Did you emboss the polka dots or did the paper come like that? If you embossed, what did you use? I love it!

Thanks! I embossed the polka dots on both the pale pink and rose panels. I used different embossing folders from QuicKutz that I got at i {heart} papers.
I have to say, that it is very confusing trying to find the next sketch challenge.. When you hit, challenges and swaps, it is not there. When you hit sketches, the newest one is not there. Am I searching the wrong way?? I had to go to discussions to find this.

So sorry, Rebekka. It's my fault that this week's sketch isn't posted in the challenges and swaps area. This whole month has been one big, stressful blur for me--I guess that's what I get for trying to do this late at night (Fri PM/Sat AM) so that it would be ready to go first thing on Saturday . . .
