A Collectors Curiousity
So many of you like myself collect and use stamps from many different companies. For the longest time I was only collecting Stampin Up stamps but I got tired of the way they over price all their stamps and the fact that they refuse to make acrylics. I have been collecting Studio G's for awhile now and Hero Arts on occassion though since I am now a retailer for their company getting their stamps is alot easier. Recently however I started picking up Inkadinkado's and Making Memories stamps. I am noticing an interesting trend. Over the last few months it seems like both Inkadinkado and Making Memories are trying to compete with Hampton Arts the makers of Studio G stamps because they too have been releasing sets of dollar acrylic stamps. For instance Studio G did a Christmas/Holiday set and recently on a trip to Joann's today I found that Inkadinkado has released a holiday set as well that contains more stamps in it than the Studio G set.
So for those of you that collect Studio G's do you find yourself collecting the other two companies stamps as well or do you stick solely with Studio G's?

Interesting and understandable..I guess.
Mike's now has some xmas ones that are tooooo cute. They have a reindeer, angel, and a few others that are going to make my basket next time. I like mini's .
I have a hard time finding some of the other brands, glad there isn't a craft warehouse nearby..lol -

So what other companies do you all collect from? (and when I say collect I dont mean you buy every single stamp they put out, I mean you tend to have alot of that brand of stamp in your stamp collections)

Of course you know I have Hero Arts, Inkadinkado's, Hampton Arts, are the top 3 I have in my stash. I also buy stampendous, rubber stampede, other $1/mini stamps (Studio G, Recollections, Snag ems, Imaginisce) also 7gypsies, October Afternoon, and Inque. I love acrylics so not too many rubber companies. I have bought 1 set of CTMH and hoping to snag Nov + Dec. stamp of the month. -

Those are cute and since we have been discussing all this in this thread I started really looking at Michaels and I did find the Recollection stuff.
I have been getting the CTMH catalogs but I havent really found too many of their sets I like. There are two right now that I still need to get.
I was a huge fan for the longest time of Stampin Up but lately the only thing I really love is their card stock and colors. The last couple of catalogs havent been that great stamp wise.
I find that I am leaning towards acrylics over wood and rubber more with my stamping. They are so much easier to use in my opinion and versital. They are also much easier to store.
