Tammy - the background is really easy. You need 2 shades of 2 colors. Scribble the darker of each pair on your background randomly, and then blend a bit with the lighter of each shade, overlapping the 2 colors a bit. You don't need to be perfect cuz the next step hides oopsies. Your last step is to take your colorless blender and dot dot dot it all over the colored area. Let it dry a bit and then repeat until you get the look you want.

I actually ended up using 3 of each color on this card. That was my oopsie - I-ruined-my-background moment. And then I realized my blender was dry. LOL.
