Paper crafted Christmas trees is something that I have not played with yet but the more I see the stronger my desire. Anyway I came across this tree and yes if you have a Spellbinder dye you most likely could use it or you could cut by hand and emboss some paper before hand if using plain paper so your flowers will have some texture on them. Here is the link:
Progress is being made on our new home for those that are interested. Will let you know when it's ready.
I know it has been an age since I was over here but thought I would pop in to see what was happening here since news of the closure has reached my ears. Certainly has been a busy year for me being on 2 design teams.
I don't know what I would do without my CB and I would use it on 99% of my cards.
Funny though that I have just made a few tags for a challenge that does not go live till the 11th December and one has burlap on it. I will upload them here after that date.
Will keep in touch to see what happens here. Ina
Yes it is a disappointment that others will not take part. This comes as no surprise. I am setting up a new group and will post more information as things go by. I can't wrap my mind around the fact that our toys are not cheap yet people purchase them and they sit on the shelf. I am expecting messages that say I use mine all the time - really because I haven't seen anything. Lets see your creations and take part in the challenges. If you have problems posting then shout and I will walk you through it. Angela tried and got a few but the interest was in the poster not the challenge. The floor is always open if anyone feels like posting a challenge please do and the same will be on the new group. I can promise you that I will do the challenge but I can't promise for the other 1072 members.
Well, Margaret.......it has been 7 days since you posted the challenge for Christmas Tags. I was going to make some and thought I would come here and see what others have done. Well, as usual........NOTHING.......I know there is the rest of this week but it sure isn't very encouraging. I'm not sure trying to start another group is really worthwhile........the interest in this challenge and others before has been the same way. I think perhaps I am finished with the CB Group and I have thoroughly enjoyed making the challenges - I love using my CB and will continue to do so.
I gave worry up awhile ago. It truly doesn't pay and only plays with my mind and body. This web page will happen and by no means will it be perfect. I am learning as I go along. I just ask for patience and understanding and co-operation when things are up and working.
Sorry I don't have any suggestions to add except how about setting up a blog site dedicated to the Challenges. Afraid I am not experienced in that direction as I have let my blog languish but I am quite sure that there is others reading this group thread that could assist with technical advice. Your choice of a name and machines that can be used is great.
Yes I did and I ran into a road block. They ask for a photo and I love sheep so that is what I want. The darn site isn't accepting it and there is no way that one can contact the people that run the list. I realize why they are asking for the information but I also think that if they want people there should be a contact listed somewhere.
Reading in between line is something that I have always done and over the years it has just gotten stronger. Yes many if not all have loads of crafts that we like and that makes for a very inspired cuttlebug card maker. Most likely I am dreaming that if we can get a group going that maybe this will inspire members and they will participate. For me that is what makes a group people taking part in challenges. If inspiration was all I was looking for then all I would need is just the internet. Creating a card makes the body feel great in many ways. When your hands are busy your mind isn't thinking about worries and at least for an hour or so you have inner peace. That didn't require any medication and your worries took a back seat.
#1: hope everyone's Thanksgiving/Canadian Holiday was a blessing to you.
#2: Margaret: you read between really close...but I was playing on words when I shouldn't have, sorry. Cuttlebug Fair to me is just staying within the machines you listed, and hanging on to our Cuttlebug name. I love all crafts but always come here when looking for CB inspirations.
#3: Love the PCF for a name.
#4: Having a picture doesn't bother me on FB especially...already there.
Let me know if there is any thing I can help with when you make the changes.
One more thing if you want it to be like PCP then Paper Digital Art site is the way to go.. it is exactly same set up as this site.. I do not know if she will allow Cuttlebuggers group but I am guessing to help promote her site she will! IT doesn't appear you have to use their images at all. I am a member.. and yes you have to have a photo for safety reasons.. I assume.
