Paper Craft Planet

Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

Hi:

My goodness did the earth open up and eat everyone? Well I guess that I should say anything as I have had my hands full with my DH. Don't I wish that if I had known that life would be this crazy I never would have been born.

I am sure that many of you have used this technique in a easel card but have you tried it as just a regular card. I found a web site that shows you how it's done. Check this out and give it a try when you have a little time on your hands.

Hi Margaret:

I'm sorry to read that your hubby has made a busy time for you.  I do hope he is improving as time goes on.

I've made one of these hinged cards before by offsetting the die a wee bit - I will certainly try it if I get the time.  I have two granddaughters with birthday's coming very soon and want to get working on those as well.

I guess we can make this our next challenge, Margaret, nice of you to do this.

Marion

Hi Margaret sorry to hear that your grumpy old man is being a pain, they seem to get like that after a certain age, think mine was always like it actually !  Hang in there.

I will give this a bash too :) Actually I made one ages ago using the SB largest Scalloped Heart die.

Hello Girls:

This will probably be my last Cuttlebug Challenge but I said I would participate and you can have a peek at it here.  I called it pcpcuttlebug149 as I think that is where we are at.

I invested in a larger Cricut before Christmas and am using that more and more.  I stopped ages ago buying for the Cuttlebug as I would rather buy Cartridges for the Cricut - either way, things get expensive.  I have chosen the Cricut to invest in as I can always push buttons and feed CS into it - the old hands (especially right one) is slowly getting worse.

I just don't feel I have enough CB dies/EF to stay in the Challenge.  That doesn't mean I won't pop by now and again to see what you girls are doing.

Thanks for the Challenge, Margaret - I'm not terribly happy with my results but fits the bill, I guess.  Happy Crafting ladies.

Big Hugs to all of you ladies.

Hi Marion:

I will admit that my Cricut isn't getting the attention that it should but then again lots of my toys are sitting there saying please use me. I never expected that my life would be so crazy but it is. I think the only thing that will work for me is I take at least an hour out of each day and work on a card.

Now you say you don't have enough embossing folders. This last card says that you are very wrong my friend. Is crafting not about making one think outside the box? Get creative and find other ways of using your dyes. I will do my best in finding challenges that will keep you inspired. Yes I can understand that your hands are sore so if you must then you must. We are only human and if our body will not work then I guess there is no choice. Well let just say I have my own thoughts about that but is something that I must work through. It faces me every day and he must try harder or I will die trying.

Hi all I am recycling this hinged card as I havent had a chance to make another just yet.  MY CARD IS HERE

It has been so hot and revolting and my craft room seems to catch the heat and isnt a nice place to be in the Summer

.......love this card, Mary - beautiful, as always.

Thanks for the comments Marion and Margaret.  I will get to try another one at some point.
