Paper Craft Planet

Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more

Hi:

Well I will say that I am shocked that this group has fallen and has gone so silent. I guess that everyone was getting ready for the end of the world that never happened. Oh well since it didn't happen can we all start thinking cards so when the New Year starts we can have ideas for the next challenge. In the meantime I found the following web site for those of us that don't believe in tossing out the smallest piece of paper. No it's not cuttlebug but I see no reason why it couldn't be.

Merry Christmas and if I get caught up in my crazy life have a Happy New Year as well. I miss my friends and making new friends is fun and inspirational. So come out from under that rock and lets rock and roll those bugs.

I have had my daughter from Australia here to visit - she leaves today.........that in conjunction with having our first grandchild arrive mid October has kept us busy with other things......am happy to have someone take over if they have more time......anyone interested?

I hope that your daughters visit has been a joyous occasion :) It is always wonderful to see them when they live so far away, my beloved girl lives in central Africa so visits are rare.  Keep well and all the best.

Hi Mary-Jane:

It seems as we age time becomes very rare. What would be interesting is if 6 members got together and each one took a week about in sending in a card challenge and still kept it at 2 weeks for a card. That would take the load off one persons shoulders. I know that we have many creative members.

Hi Margaret and Mary-Jane so pleased to see a newer post than my last one in November.  Life here has been crazy for quite a few months and just now I am exhausted, chronic unrelenting pain does that. Plus way too much garden all going to wrack and ruin cos I cant keep up and an ailing partner just to add the icing on the cake. Whinge over.

Margaret that is a very good idea about a few of us sharing, perhaps we could explore it in more depth in the New Year.  I for one would be very sad to see this group go into mothballs.

I have been meaning to contact you but ..... you know the saying about good intentions!

In the meantime a Blessed, Peaceful and Merry Christmas and a marvellous Happy and Healthy New Year to everyone who happens to come by.

I am so glad to see a posting.   I would hate to see this group disapper.  I hope we can come up with something to keep this group going.  I like everyone else in this group have gotten busy with family.  Grandchildren bring so much joy to life. But at the same time keep us from doing other things we wish to do.  My Christmas cards I  haven't even started to make yet.  Mary Jane I hope yoiur visit with your daughter was delightful.  Mary Jane and Mary I can't image my children living that far from me.  I am so lucky they are very close by.  2 miles and 45 miles away.  I hope this finds everyone in good health and good spirits.  Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I haven't been here in ages and think the idea of some of us instigating a card challenge every now and then is a great one. I for one would be interested in doing this as I so love using my cuttlebug. Why can't we share it around and give Mary Jane a break?

Now that the Christmas/New Year celebrations are in the past lets start afresh with a new challenge.

PS I am not into Valentine's Day so would not be interested in doing a challenge with that theme in mind but open to anything  - doesn't need to be Valentine we could still incorporate a Valentine's Day card with Birthday or Friendship.
