Paper Crafting, Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, and more
December RAK
December means that we are now turning to our own holiday preparations and I thought it wise to not have partner lists for the simple reason that we are all too darn busy!
However, to keep the spirit of our RAK Group going for the month, I thought of a couple of things we as individuals can do that may be of interest to you. I've posted a few sites that are always looking for hand crafted cards for worthy causes. I would love to add to this list and if you know of other similar organizations, just post a comment and I'll revise the list here.
Secondly, as most of you know, Amy Samuelson just had a baby boy and you could send her a card for this occasion. Send me a message to request her mailing address if you don't already have it.

Sandra - I got your card back in the mail yesterday. I put your name but not the full address. I'm so sorry! I felt even worse after getting all these cards and knowing that you still hadn't received yours! I'm putting it back in the mail with the full address. So sorry sweetheart, the card you sent me was so beautiful. I have it on display!

My little man is doing awesome... gaining weight and eating more by the day! He is a momma's boy... helikes to cuddle up with me and sleep on my chest! Love it! I'm patiently waiting the first "sleep thru the night"! LOL!

Here's an awesomely fun idea for all of you just in case you are just sitting around doing nothing (tee hee)!!!! Go to our group members pages (just click on their head in the member list at the main page of our group) and if they have a blog listed, go to it and take a look! Because we are a RAK group afterall, leave a little message of holiday cheer for them! Now that was easy! hugs, Lyn

Well I am here to report on my findings.....not much I'm afraid. Have missed the Samaritans cutoff for cards. The childrens hospital are too busy with sick children to speak to some silly lady wanting to send cards (fair enough - much rather they spend their time doing that) Still waiting to hear back from the old folks home - I think I just may have left it too late. But thats ok to compensate I have sent a "cheerful" card with a few goodies to someone I heard needed some cheering up with no family around them at this time of year undergoing a few hardships - so I figure I have fulfilled this swap. Merry Christmas everyone.
