HANDMADE CANDY CANE COVER

YOU NEED:
  • Candy Cane
  • Cardstock (2"x3"...mine is kiwi kiss)
  • white cardstock and scrap cardstock to punch your scallop out with.
  • 1 3/8" circle punch
  • scallop punch
  • slit punch
  • corner rounding punch
  • glue (glue dots)
  • coloring tools (mine: copic markers)
  • ink
  • stamps (mine is from Treehouse Stamps "Jolly Snowman" stamp set)
........................................................................................

  • Start by rounding the corners of your 2"x3' piece of cardstock.
  • Then take your slit punch and make 2 punches on the 2"x3" piece of cardstock. It doesn't matter where you put them. Just remember that the closer to the edge you are... the less bowed your cardstock will be on the candy cane.

  • Feed your candy cane through both of the slit punches that you made. The top picture shows you what it should look like when you are finished. :)

  • Stamp your image on white cardstock.
  • Then use your 1 3/8" circle punch to cut it out.
  • Color your image.
  • Mount the circle punch up onto your scallop punch.

  • Use a Glue Dot to attach your scallop to your kiwi kiss cardstock.
  • And... that's it!! :)

Super Easy and Fun! Great way to spread some holiday cheer around the neighborhood, church, or even at work! Happy Holidays!
