Step 2: Pick up a bit of color with the narrow brush and flick it onto the image in several areas. Repeat the process with as many colors as desired.
Step 3: Using the fatter brush, pounce over the entire image first to help imbed the powders.
Step 4: With the same fatter brush, begin to vigorously ‘sweep’ away all the loose powders off the image and then over the unstamped areas. Be sure to go in both directions when sweeping the plain cardstock to help remove all the unwanted powders.
Step 4 Contd.: The finished image should look something like this after all brushing is completed.
Step 5: Stamp the postal image with Perfect Medium and this time, use only one color of Perfect Pearls applying with the narrow brush and pouncing and brush sweeping with the fatter brush.
Step 6: For the sentiment, stamp using Perfect Medium and apply one color of Perfect Pearls first with the narrow brush and pouncing and sweeping off with the fatter brush.
Painting with Perfect Pearls
Step 1: Begin with a black embossed image. This will act as a resist and help keep the paint right where you want it.
Step 2: Pick up a bit of Perfect Pearls with a waterbrush and place it on a craft sheet. Add a little water from the brush. Less water more intense color!
Continue adding color and painting the butterfly as desired. This is very much like water coloring and will feel quite natural.
Play with adding more water directly onto the image and watch the colors blend together!
Step 3: When satisfied with the painting, cut out the butterfly and mount onto the card base.
