After spending 30 years of my adult life in the corporate world, I stepped away from a major financial company in Phoenix to build my own business doing what I love most. Except for hobbies and gifts, I had put off my lifelong dream of using my creative side for fun and profit. So this blog is about a leap of faith and building a business in the creative arts.

I started making greeting cards from lace and beads and glitter paint about 15 years ago. Then when my son joined the Navy I started scrapbooking all the photos he sent from his travels and, of course, his career milestones. When my niece introduced me to Stampin' Up I was once again hooked on making cards, this time with stamps. I am also a photographer so many of my photos will be matted and framed for the wall AND on greeting cards.

I mentioned my son who is now a Lt. Commander in Navy Intelligence, currently deployed with the aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower strike group. I am also blessed with a wonderful husband who is an over-the-road semi-truck driver. His terrific son has a spunky two-year old son who gives us lots of grins and giggles.
