Getting to Know Everyone and Everything About Paper Craft Planet
Even though I have a blog, this new site is so exciting and I'm looking forward to visiting all of the other members' sites here as well.
Thanks for the Welcome! I can't honestly remember where I saw a link to this site - quite likely at MDC, but I visited and set up this page a week or two ago. I saw the invitation to join the MDC group today on the MDC blog page. Can you tell, I'm still trying to find my way around the site! I wish I were more of a technowizard but I'm sure I'll figure it all out eventually. ;)

Happy New Year !! I'm going to start the New Year off with some posts about the most recent cards and scrap book pages I've made.

Christmas is a time of wonderful memories, traditions, decorations, food, and ... GIFTS. Recently, I made this acetate window card for the MDC window challenge. The weekend after I finished experimenting with this, I made a similar but not as complex window card for the recent SCS "Cabaret" VSN. Once I figured out how best to put them together, these were actually very easy cards to make, and here is how I made them. For details regarding stamps and products used, visit my gallery at Splitcoast Stampers.

What could be more adorable than a baby card shaped like a baby dress and pinafore? I found the template for this card at Stampington & Co., a great source for publications where you can get fantastic ideas for cards and other projects.
Here's a link to the template for this card: http://www.stampington.com/html/tempting_template_jj06.html.
I enlarged the template slightly so it would make essentially a 5 by 7 card,…

I'm finally getting caught up, uploading pictures into my SCS gallery. In addition to my card for this week's challenge, I uploaded pictures of all of the Chanukah table decorations I made, plus cards for the challenges of weeks 18, 17, 8, and 12.
Here they are, plus links to my SCS gallery entries for details.
