OMG!! I so want a hubby that makes lunch and lets me get me do my craft! Glad to hear you had a great day. We're having perfect weather down under - blue sky and its nearly winter but no chill yet which is fantastic as its school holidays at the moment and the kids can still go to the beach.

You are over heating the vellum. Its tricky, don't hold your heat tool too close even if it takes longer to melt the embossing powder, then it's less likely to buckle. Good luck. If it helps I used CTMH vellum, didn't notice what weight it was.

Hey Judy! I have tons of bow tricks. Anyways this one is simple. Take your ribbon and BEFORE you cut it, lay it on your project and grab it about where you want to have the bow sit. Take the excess ribbon side and use it to make one loop a little longer than you need for the size bow you want and hold it in the hand that is on the side with the short end. Use your other hand to make another loop same length and just tie them together once right behind left and through the hole. Pull it tight and adjust size by pulling the ends then retighten. That way you cut the other end when you are done the length you need and no waste. If I didn't explain it in a way that is understandable let me know and I will try to photograph myself doing it for a visual.Let me know!
