We are about 4 to 5 hours apart... I live at the bottom of the state in the middle along the Columbia River Gorge.

Yeah, we would eat at the colophon as well, back then we were double income no kids, so we ate out alot.. my husband was a manager for Shari's Resturant first in Bham, then when the burlington one opened he went there, then back to Bham. Needless to say, he and I are much happier now with his change in profession. Small world ! its fun to meet someone from back home.
Did you live there when the drive-in in town actually showed movies? That was so fun! It was sad when they closed it.

I grew up in skagit valley, and of course spent alot of time in bham and soon after my husband and I were married, we moved to fairhaven on the interurban trail. We loved it. We lived there for 8 years until my husband joined the army and we moved to the east coast, now we live in El paso! Whenever I visit family in skagit valley, we always go visit Bellingham too!
