- Liz we all are in the group for fun and to get ideas and share, not competition. I have a nice big piece of black coreboard that I prop up behind the cards I am photographing if they are white or pale so that the camera automatically focuses on the paler object. I like to photograph the flowers on my Liliums and other bulbs and quite often the flowers are very small so the black works to draw the focus onto the object rather than the surroundings

- Please put your card back up Liz. If you cant get it to scan well and cant get a photo try putting a darker bit of paper over the card on the scanner bed so that you get better contrast. When the colours are paler or there is a lot of white in the card the scanner seems to bounce the light back.

- Hi Lizette thanks for your comment on my CB challenge card. The pattern was an accident, my folder slipped as I was putting it through the machine and got a little damaged
