Hello all. It’s a great day today. Not only is it Cinco de Mayo (raise your margarita and toast the day),and it’s World Scrapbooking Day – but the BIG highlight of today for me is that Waltzingmouse Stamps begins its previews of three new stamps sets to be release on May 8th. I’m so excited about these sets, especially the set we (the design team) are working with today – a set that has long been awaited since the release of its companion…See More

Family NOT on Facebook

I have a heritage layout to share with you that also contains an element of current culture.  I have many heritage photos that were inherited from my parents.  Some are in good condition, some have seen better days, but no matter what their condition, they are all precious to me.  My relatives have identified some of the subjects, but many hold images of nameless faces’ faces that have a connection to me.  I do have the names of the children in this photo, and even first names of their…

Being Silly with Susanna!

Posted on April 25, 2012 at 6:09am 0 Comments

Today I bring you a scrapbook page that I put together this past weekend using a photo that I just love.  I’m not crazy about the way I look (is there ever a picture where we really like how we look?), but what I love about this photo is that it captures a moment of silliness.  The little girl in me loves to be silly, do funny things and act childlike and while it doesn’t happen all the time, I treasure those moments of silliness.…

Hi Lynn!

Thank you for joining us at KPink! Kristen has an awesome array of digi stamps available in her Etsy shop. There is a link to it at KPink. But, we aren't just about stamping at KPink. We love to discuss and learn about all art mediums. So, if you have a question about a specific technique, please feel free to post it in the comments on KPink! Chances are someone will have an answer for you. Likewise, if you have a special technique that you would like to share, please do so!!

Kristen is in St. Louis too and I am in the Kansas City area. She is having a HUGE craft sale this coming Saturday, May 29th from 8 am to 2 pm. She has started a "discussion" about it on KPink. Since you are fairly close to her (I think!), you might want to check it out. Maybe you could find some deals! I am going to try to make the trip myself!

Your work is gorgeous! I enjoyed looking through your pictures and will be joining your blog shortly!

Thanks again for joining us!
