Hello everyone! It’s Taylor here today, hosting this week’s 3D challenge. This week it’s all about stamped and/ or decorated candles.. If you’ve never made one before, there are several different ways to do it. You can see use a technique similar to the one I used, or check out a pretty candle-wrapping tutorial, too!
Creating candles is a quick and easy way to make gifts for people, and the variety is endless! I’ve also made a coordinating coaster for this project (you can see more details about this project on my blog today), but that’s not a requirement to play along in the challenge this week. We’d love to see what you can make with candles; be sure to share your project in the Paper Craft Planet Gallery and add the keyword 3D174. Happy crafting!

I have seen this done, but never tried to do it. Thanks for the reminder how to do this. The one I wanted to do was to print a photograph on to the tissue and put that on a candle. Makes for a great wedding unity candle with a photo of a bride and groom. I need to get some candles and work on some Christmas gifts! Thanks tons.
Comment by Patti J on July 25, 2012 at 9:49am Hi Taylor, love your candle - what a fun challenge! Gread idea to create the matching coaster, as well. Thanks for the inspiration!
