Hello everyone! It’s Taylor here today, with a fun 3D challenge to share. I am all about the 3D embellishments this week – I specifically had flowers in mind, but you could create whatever you wanted! If you are interested in fun flowers, be sure to take a look over in the tutorials section on the Planet. There is a whole section specific to embellishments, and in there you’ll find flat and puffy flowers, a paper rose tutorial, and posy flowers.
You could also do what I did, and take the easy way out. I used a Tim Holtz die to make my flowers (purchased at AC Moore). I also love to use the pinwheel posy die, available at i {heart} papers.
Whatever you decide to do, add some 3D flowers to your project this week. When you upload to the Paper Craft Planet gallery, use the keyword 3D178. Also, feel free to share your work on our Facebook page!
Fun tidbit: I’m also playing along with this month’s Stampendous Challenge, which is to focus on sentiments. To read more about the challenge, check out their blog post. I am totally in love with the Cherish Family sentiment – it really rings true for me!
