An Easter Tag Tim Holtz style: Tutorial and Giveaway

Hi it's Cyndi back with you this week with another Dreamweaver Stencils Tutorial.  Our challenge on the DWS blog all through March is Spring/Easter.  So this week DWS meets some Tim Holtz Distress on an Easter tag!
And here's a pic of the supplies that I used:
I started by dabbing Embossing ink through the Daisy background stencil on some plain white cardstock.
Next I poured on my Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Powders, one color at a time so that I could mix it up across the design.  After all of my colors were added I heated the powder with my Heat Tool.
Once I had the powder thoroughly heated I ran the cardstock through my Cuttlebug with 3 different sizes of the Nested Egg die from Spellbinders.
To make the eggs pop out I added Distress Ink lightly all over the background and heavier around the edges of each egg.
For my tag background I started with some Tim Holtz Tissue paper and adhered that to my tag with Multi Medium gel.  After I heated that I added Distress Paint and Distress Stain, sprayed with water and then heat it again.
In the corner of the tag I heat embossed more Distress powder using the Large Flourish stencil.
Here's a closeup of the eggs when they are layered together.
My eggs are nestled in a layer of grass cut with Martha Stewart scissors on Green Core'dinations cardstock.  The sentiment at the bottom was stenciled through Season of Joy stencil using Distress ink and a dauber.  (Who says you can't use a Christmas stencil at Easter? LOL)
And finally an extra element that I couldn't resist adding to the tag is this Butterfly from Tim Holtz's Easter Blueprints stamp set.
I hope you enjoy and I hope you'll join our challenge this month!

Dreamweaver has generously offered one lucky duck the free stencil of their choice!  It could be you!  Enter to win using the Rafflecopter link below.
