Warning... this is a pretty photo intensive post.... It took me some time to get it altogether, but I have the final wrap-up of the 2010 CHA conference.
First, Spellbinders introduced the Presto Punch. This battery and AC powered punch comes with dies similar to Nestabilities. It punches and embosses and at 3 lbs, is easy to toss in your crop bag and carry with you. Here's the video:
I also had a great time hanging out at the Provocraft booth. They introduced a new food safe Cricut. It uses the same cartridges which opens up whole new realms of possibilities for those of us who want our invitations to match the decor and the cake! Here's the video:
Cuttlebug has introduced a new line of folders that cut and emboss in one pass. This is really exciting for those of us who would like to save that step and work large projects. Best part of these new folders is that they include a plastic flap that lifts up so that you can stencil or paint your embossed areas. There is also a line of folders aimed at those of you who love quilling -- these kits will come with all the tools you need to make several different types of flowers. Here's the video:
My last video is from We R Memory Keepers introducing the new bookbinding Cinch. This is a straight competitor to the Bind-it All. I tried the Cinch and it's very easy to use.
One of my favorite stops through CHA was the Karen Foster booth. I met Annette, who was completely charming. She took me on a tour of some new things that will really knock your socks off.
The magnet accents are my favorite. Add these to a card and then the recipient can keep the magnet for their fridge or bulletin board. Clever. I'm going to stalk Archiver's until these arrive!
