Hi everyone and welcome to another Sketch Challenge! This week's sketch involves shortening a card front simply by folding it in half! With a short front, more of the inside of the card is revealed. The two added layers are affixed to the inside of the card. The shaded focal area can be any shape too. This sketch is oriented in a landscape format but it works great in portrait orientation also! The trick to lining up the center focal layers is to affix the card front layer first and the inside layers last.
Here's a couple of samples:
And this is the inside view:
A second card focal is a rosette layered with Spellbinders. The rooster 'tag' is actually a sticker that I dusted with powder on the sticky side to remove the adhesive!
And here's the inside of the card:
Now it's your turn to take on the sketch challenge! Be sure to tag your card SK080312 so we can upload to the Gallery!
Hugs,
Lyn
